Military historian and licensed battlefield guide, Wayne Motts, will lead you on an unforgettable tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield. For more than a decade, Wayne has given thousands of tours of the Gettysburg battlefield to visitors from all over the world. The tour will take you to the most important locations on the battlefield and explain the battlefield strategies and the stories of the men who fought a contest that proved to be the decisive turning point of the Civil War.

Tour Route. The TravelBrains audio tour takes approximately two and a half hours to complete. Listening to the audio tour in your car, you will follow the same tour signs as the National Park's tour route. Wayne Motts will guide you around the battleifeld covering the battle in chronological order. Dramatic sound effects and music accompany the descriptions of the fighting and bring the battle to life.

Battle Maps.
17 detailed battle maps show you the troop movements and important battlefield locations like the Slaughter Pen and the Valley of Death. Famous photographs of the battlefield are identified on the map to allow you to find their location and compare the past with the present.

Historic Photographs.
The Guidebook is loaded with photographs of the men who fought the battle and the devastation they caused. In many cases the photographs were taken shortly after the battle. The images correspond with the narration and provide a haunting reminder of the brutality of the American Civil War.
